Accounts Payable Officer

To provide a high level of accounts payable and administration support to the Property Rents team ensuring DPE’s financial obligations under all Australian (AU) & New Zealand (NZ) leases are met.

Responsibilities

  • Request supporting details for variable outgoings invoices received. (e.g. a landlord sends an invoice for water usage but does not provide a copy of the water utility providers invoice/meter reading.  It will be necessary to ask for this information to ensure accuracy of invoice request).   (amount of time involved – approx. 20%)
  • Process variable outgoings invoices for payment (amount of time involved – approx. 60%)
  • Payment of other non-standard invoices or one-off charges as requested.
  • BASIC Invoice queries – investigating balances brought forward and outstanding charges / arrears (amount of time involved – approx. 20%)
  • Assist Corporate Admin team
  • Ad-hoc administration tasks assigned from time to time.
  • Day to day supervision by Property Administration Manager
  • Property Administration Assistant
  • Corporate Services Manager
  • Members of the Finance team
  • Members of the Leasing team and Legal team
  • All other head office staff, including Franchise and Business Consultants, Regional and State Managers
  • Landlords, Managing Agents
  • Other Business Partners and Third Parties as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in the Accounts Payable process including invoice and credit note processing and payment runs.
  • Ability to learn and proficiently use Domino’s Finance & Accounts Payable software (Microsoft Navision).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent financial, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and record keeping.
  • The ability to research and troubleshoot.
  • Ability to undertake new tasks quickly, be flexible and to respond effectively to challenges.
  • Organised, able to prioritise a high-volume workload and to meet deadlines.
  • Actively support all position, department and company policies and procedures.
  • Be self-motivated and enjoy working autonomously.
  • Drive and enthusiasm in relation to the role and the strategic direction of the Property Rents team.
