Accounts Payable Supervisor

The Accounts Payable Supervisor role primarily involves owning managing the disbursement of company funds and ensuring vendors are treated as business partners.

The role will be in a shared service environment and is expected to work alongside the rest of the Business Services Team based in Manila. This role will report to a Finance Manager in the Shared Services team.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of three (3) members which has a potential to grow
  • Oversees reports regarding cash flow; ensures correct payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Trains and oversees employees involved in billing functions.
  • Inputting invoices
  • Executing Payment Batches
  • Utilizing both MRI software and multiple banking portals
  • Resolving rejected payments
  • Updating Vendor Master Data
  • Resolving the overall vendor and internal customer queries in accordance with department SLA’s
  • Improving department and team performance against key KPI’s
  • Managing overall payment and master data exceptions
  • Managing delay in vendor payments including invoice submission and approvals
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  • Assistance with audit and controls

Qualifications

 

  • At least two (2) years of supervisory experience

 

  • CPA or CA license is preferred but not required
  • Experience working in multinational companies is preferred
  • Experience working with the Australian market is nice to have
  • Experience in ERP, MRI, Oralcle, SAP or any similar platforms is nice to have
  • Must be highly motivated
  • Must have a good sense of humour
  • Must be confident in digesting numbers
  • Exceptional Communication Skills

  • Can excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Driven and enjoys self-learning
  • Should be able to identify opportunities to improve processes through technology utilisation; efficiency, cost reduction, user experience, controls and compliance

  • Must be amenable to work in morning schedules
  • Must be amenable to work in BGC, Taguig
