Business Development and Social Media Specialist

We support online broker-dealers, digital lenders, alternative trading systems (ATS), crowdfunding platforms, robo-advisers, cryptocurrency platforms, and other fintechs that may operate in a regulated environment or are considering regulatory compliance.

We assist our clients in resolving a multitude of complex compliance issues within highly regulated industries. We have enabled fintech innovators to successfully launch and expand their businesses by providing comprehensive compliance services and leadership on a fully outsourced basis.

Our CEO and Founder are currently seeking a key team player who is eager to become an integral part of our Marketing and Sales efforts. As a member of our distributed team, you will collaborate closely to manage multi-channel communications and establish a robust pipeline of leads. Your daily responsibilities will include connecting with the Head of Marketing to execute outreach campaigns effectively.

Responsibilities

Account-Based Marketing and Selling

  • Create and regularly update listings for relevant prospect and customer accounts in the US and worldwide.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining records of target accounts, including buyers, partners, influencers, and facilitators.
  • Gather contact names and contact information through lead generation databases and research/outreach efforts targeting key buyers and influencers.
  • Utilize external sources to identify appropriate contacts and reasons for communication.
  • Ensure the CRM database is well-maintained by revising, updating, and removing outdated records.
  • Email prospects and send LinkedIn messages in full support of the CEO and Founder.

Social Media Support

  • Manage and execute various aspects of digital and social media marketing tools such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Assist in creating a content calendar, generating content, and posting it on social media.
  • Develop interaction plans and roadmaps with other brands, influencers, prospects, and customers on social media on behalf of the company.
  • Dedicate daily time to executing the interaction plan on LinkedIn, engaging with our target audiences by sharing content, finding ways to increase company followers, enhancing overall engagement with our customers and partners, and leveraging these platforms for business opportunities and a stronger business presence.
  • Monitor, track, and report on social media activity.
  • If necessary, oversee and optimize social media advertising campaigns.

Website Support and Other Duties

  • Make occasional updates to the website content.
  • Other tasks related to business development and digital marketing may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as a marketing or social media associate with a focus on social media and lead generation.
  • B2B lead generation experience is a requirement.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of social media culture and etiquette, as well as an understanding of the fine line between managing a professional yet effective social media presence.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or any related CRM tool is nice to have.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and communicate effectively is crucial.
  • A professional and proactive demeanor, including reliability, flexibility, and excellent work ethics, is expected.
  • Self-motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently without supervision are important.
  • Graphic design skills are a plus (for creating visuals for social media).
  • Great attention to detail and a drive to learn on the job through self-education are highly valued.
