As a Business Development Representative, your main duty will involve building and overseeing accounts within our Salesforce CRM system. You will have a crucial role in expanding our business by identifying and engaging with potential partners and clients in the aftermarket manufacturing and heavy-duty industries. This position is integral to our Business Development Team and will require a strategic approach to account build-out and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Account Build-Out: Populate and maintain Salesforce accounts with accurate and comprehensive information.
  • Identify and Tag Strategic Accounts: Identify and tag strategic accounts where two or more brands are managed. Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager to optimize engagement with these accounts.
  • Track and update the life cycle state of each account in SalesForce.
  • Utilize various tools such as Apollo and LinkedIn to retrieve contact information for key decision-makers and influencers within the target accounts. Aim to gather 3-7 meaningful contacts per account.
  • Contact Build-Out.
  • Implement nurture campaigns for different account categories (e.g., Aftermarket Parts Manufacturer, Aftermarket Parts Seller, Heavy Duty Manufacturer, Heavy Duty Parts Seller) using sequences. These campaigns should include:
    • Email outreach 
    • Phone call initiation
  • Monitor and record all interactions with accounts and contacts, including emails, phone calls, and meetings, within SalesForce.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales and business development.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and other related CRM tools is good to have.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Preference given to candidates with sales and business development experience.
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Team player and collaborates with others constructively and positively.
