POSITION OVERVIEW Full-Stack Developer assists in design, layout, coding and modification of websites from layout to function as directed by Marketing Coordinator. The role also regularly assesses, update, and maintain visually appealing sites featuring user-friendly design and clear navigation. Online Marketing Administrator will participate in ongoing research and review of sales approach complimentary to brand.
Responsibilities
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Web
Test websites and report on technical issues
Optimise search outcomes per brand
Build server side software as directed
Database creation, integration and management as directed (e.g., MySQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL)
Maintain and develop Conent Management System (CMS) as directed
Monitor Operating System capabilities and provide solution to improve efficiencies
Adapt existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements using appropriate coding as required
Research and maintain website SEO best practices
Security
Monitor security settings
Test, monitor and report on hack prevention
Perform backups and restore technologies for website files and Database
Marketing
Perform regular reviews of online performance per brand and report
Research and recommend of online marketing improvement strategies to gain increaed client engagement
Create, file and maintain template library for e-collateral per brand
Assiss in ad-hoc design and layout styling complimentary to brand
Create and collate even invitations and response as directed
Reporting
Generate regular analytics and statistics including traffic: demography, numbers, geography, patterns
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Degree holder of Business, IT or related Management course (preferred)
Understanding of User Interface, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
Experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's
Exposure to Joomla, Concrete5, WordPress preferably other popular CMS
Exposure to Server-side programming languages ie. like Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby and JavaScript
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Application
Demonstable autonomous workstyle
Strong written and verbal comminucation skills
