The Business Applications Lead is responsible for design and build system integrations between the company's line of business platforms that support over 260 clinics across Australia and New Zealand

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop integration solutions using Boomi platform to enable seamless data exchange and integration across applications, systems, and platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and project managers, to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Build and maintain integrations between cloud-based and on-premises systems, utilizing Boomi connectors, APIs, and other available tools.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues by conducting root cause analysis, identifying solutions, and implementing necessary fixes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Boomi features, enhancements, and best practices to continuously improve integration solutions and optimize performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business users, to ensure effective collaboration and successful project outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the integration team.
  • Participate in code reviews, adhere to coding standards, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the documentation of integration processes, technical specifications, and troubleshooting guides for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with business stakeholders to onboard system processes and support practices for line of business applications.
  • Provide guidance and best-practice to the team around application support, troubleshooting and process design.
  • Identification of integration and/or automation opportunities to streamline the functionality and useability of line of business applications
  • Effectively managing all stakeholders and often competing priorities withing the business by facilitating timely and effective decision making.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience building application integrations. Experience with Boomi highly regarded but not essential.
  • Experience managing technology vendors and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
