Junior Accountant position has been created in response to the increasing workload due to our global expansion. There is a need to improve systems and procedures to provide scalability. Given the mass of data and real time information requirements, it is imperative the systems and reporting are robust and up-to the minute.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring integrity of financial data by performing reconciliations of third party payment provider accounts
  • Accurate data entry and managing a high volume of transactions everyday
  • Reconciling daily bank accounts for multiple currencies
  • Assisting with client money reporting and client funds excess analysis
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting in liaising with external auditors
  • Ad-hoc support to team members
  • Main responsibility is Accounts Payable or Finance Officer.
  • Responsible for data entry and double checking the data/information in the system.
  • Can work on the month end reporting.
  • Managing the client’s database: Excel, MS Dynamics, Blackline.
  • Processing bank reconciliations for multiple currencies.
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
• Background in Accounts Payable.
• Intermediate level for Excel: (Filter, Pivot and Formulas)
• Background in Debit and Credit.
• Must have excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail
• Must be accurate in data entry skills.
• Good with time management.
• Should have good interpersonal skills.
• Must have good work ethics, be flexible, reliable and be eager to learn new things.

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel(Intermediate
level)
• Preferred Degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant qualification
• Excellent attention to detail with analytical, reconciliation and overall troubleshooting
skills
