Junior Photo Editor (Full time)

The Junior Photo Editor role is tasked to maintain high visual standards of product imagery across the website and digital touchpoints, by taking raw product images submitted by suppliers or shot by our studio, isolating product from the background, cropping and compressing to a web ready files to be sent to the upload team. The role requires someone who finds joy in being highly organised and in getting into the nitty gritty of the behind the scenes workings of design.

Responsibilities

  • Execute retouching, resizing, colour correcting, cloning, and adjustments as needed to enhance photography using Photoshop
  • Complete daily image processing and meet strict publishing deadlines
  • Ensure accuracy of product codes, SKU numbers and other product information
  • Maintain and organise all incoming digital assets and archive images and assets as in a tidy and logical manner
  • Work closely with design team to coordinate digital asset creation, management, transfer, upload, and filing
  • Propose improvements to strategy, implementation, and workflow of image production process
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, both in Sydney and Manila as the team expands

 

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Design, or any related course
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge and basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, CS3 or higher) a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to maintain impeccable file management protocol, always looking to propose and implement efficient and cost-effective procedures
  • Work well under pressure within tight deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent comprehension skills
  • Positive attitude, high energy, proactive, hardworking, and goal oriented
  • High sense of initiative, able to work well both in a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be a team player, receptive to new ideas, and can easily adapt to change and able to go above and beyond the basic expectations when required
  • Willing to work in an early morning shift in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Early Morning Shift
