An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Loan Processor to join our Wealth Management team at Accru Melbourne.  A Loan processor is responsible for supporting Mortgage brokers in the delivery of services to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging and lodging predominantly residential purchase and refinance loan applications as well as a limited number of commercial and car loan applications
  • Accurately entering data, checking documents, and managing the database
  • Participating in ongoing client contact (including annual reviews for all existing clients)
  • Cross-referencing information from multiple sources
  • Checking bank policy and carrying out servicing calculations
  • Communicating regularly with customers and key stakeholders through the loan process on the phone and email
  • Post settlement duties including follow-up, compliance checks, client review preparation, loan pricing, and variations
  • Responding to deadlines delegated by senior team members
  • Discussing delays with senior team members as soon as they become apparent
  • Producing high quality documents that are accurate across spelling, grammar, formatting and data through careful review of one’s own work

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the banking & finance industry
  • Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Preferred experience with Mortgage broking software Mercury and AOL
  • Preferred experience working with Australian clients (not required)
  • Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Demonstrate commitment in upholding core values and behavioral standards
  • Excellent customer service, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and work in fast-paced environment
  • Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
