The Recruitment Specialist is primarily responsible for all administrative processes related to the hiring and fulfilling of all hiring requisitions. The Recruitment Specialist coordinates with other departments as well as external partners/stakeholders regarding hiring updates, reports creation, updating of all recruitment databases, conducting due diligence checks, and provides support in the implementation of recruitment / sourcing plans and strategies.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment Operations and Client Management

  • Responsible for administration of the standard recruitment process for all open tracks including conducting job interviews and placement (Offer and Due Diligence)
  • Source, identify, and match the right candidate for an open track
  • Manages candidate pool and builds own solid pipeline for future tracks
  • Maintain trackers and generate reports as required
  • Establish and maintain good working relationship with clients and provide information regarding the recruitment process while properly setting expectations with regard to profile requirements, candidate endorsements, and hiring turnaround times
  • Address the requests / inquiries of clients in a timely manner
  • Perform other initiatives that can further solidify client relationship
  • Undertake further responsibilities that may evolve in the future

 

Administrative Functions

  • Perform resume review and provide recommendations based on assessment
  • Conduct phone screening and schedule candidates for exams / interview with clients / hiring manager or the recruitment team
  • Provide feedback to all applicants regarding their application status
  • Real-time processing of all applications received
  • Record keeping and maintaining of different recruitment files
  • Performs Background and Reference Checks

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resources, Behavioural Science or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years’ of working experience in a similar position
  • At least six months experience working in human resources with experience in volume hiring preferred
  • Background in conducting reference checks an advantage
  • Knowledge in processing background checks in an RPO setting a plus
  • At least six months experience working in human resources with employment and recruitment / sourcing background OR experience in an administrative function preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking capability and success in meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with different types of people at all levels
  • Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame as well as the ability to follow through on work assignments with limited supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • With pleasing personality, positive working attitude, and is customer service-oriented
  • Detail-oriented with strong administrative and organization skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently or with a team
  • Proven ability to communicate in English, both written and oral
  • A commitment to client service and a flexible can-do attitude to respond to client and business needs
  • Must be accurate, energetic, enthusiastic, and driven
  • Must be amenable to work in BGC in an Early Morning Shift
