Though focused on Linux systems administration, this individual will be a member of our technology team with a broad exposure to a range of technologies. Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration
- Experience managing infrastructure within a hybrid environment with high availability requirements
- Experience working in virtualised environments, such as VMWare
- Experienced in working on Linux/Unix/BSD background (preferably Centos/RHEL) and Windows.
- Experienced in Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows systems administration
- Experience using continuous integration tools (Gitlab, Git workflows, Jenkins)
- With experience in using Nginx, HAProxy, and Varnish.
- Exposure to Configuration Management tools like Puppet
- Support software and system solutions, utilising a number of technologies (Python, PHP, Java, C++, Ruby, SQL, Memcached, Redis, SOLR, Elasticsearch (ELK), Graphite, StatsD).
- Has the ability to multitask
- Analyse failures and identify root causes in conjunction with engineers
- Contribute to the agile and test-driven engineering culture with creative problem solving and can-do attitude
