- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

A UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing graphic elements and building navigation components using design software and wireframe tools for projects which will include work with web platforms and mobile applications. The role requires a creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.

- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of design experience; preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
- Experience in agile & lean methodologies
- Experience in working with native iOS and Android mobile applications
- Experience in working with web, eCommerce or custom CMS platforms
- Working knowledge and experience in Sketch & Zeplin is desirable
- Experience in leading workshops, research, interviews, and inspections
- Experience in creating wireframes, mockups & prototypes.
- Experience in creating persona's, user journey's, empathy maps & persona's.
- Understanding of common software development practices
- Has the ability to take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent comprehension skills
- Exceptional design skills production value and attention to detail
- Has positive attitude, high energy, proactive, hardworking, and goal oriented
- Able to work well in a team or independently with minimal supervision
- Must be a team player receptive to new ideas, and can easily adapt to change
